Volunteer Emeritus Physicians
On January 11, 2007, recognizing the need for additional health care providers in Oregon, the Oregon Board of Medical Examiners approved a proposal for streamlining the application process for volunteer emeritus physicians. The Board specifically adopted changes that eliminate the requirement for extensive certification documents and reduced the number of years required for employment verifications. The application eliminates the $375 application fee.
