Shriners Hospitals for Children® — Portland is a 40-bed pediatric hospital, research and teaching center providing comprehensive medical, surgical and rehabilitative care to children with orthopaedic conditions.

- Idiopathic, neuromuscular and congenital clubfoot and other foot deformities
- Congenital pseudoarthrosis of the tibia
- Spina bifida (related orthopaedic conditions only)
- Skeletal growth abnormalities
- Neuromuscular diseases — muscular dystrophy and associated diseases
- Cerebral palsy (related orthopaedic conditions only)

Financial Assistance, Costs, and Eligibility
- Children up to 18 are eligible for admission
- Eligibility based on child’s medical needs
- A family’s income and insurance status are not criteria for a child’s acceptance as a patient
- No charge for services provided within Shriners Hospitals for Children facilities
