Acceptance, for children up to age 18, is based solely on a child’s medical needs. Income or insurance status is not an issue for a child’s acceptance as a patient.

The ability to pay or insurance coverage is not at all a problem. There is no cost for care or services offered within Shriners Hospital’s facilities.
